Founding Vision
North Macon Outreach was established through the vision of former Pastor David Brighton, who sought to plant a church in Macon, Georgia. To realize this objective, he enlisted Darron and Valerie Counselman to lead and organize the church planting initiative

Community Engagement
From its inception, it became evident that meaningful engagement with the Macon community necessitated outreach beyond traditional church environments. The team prioritized connecting with individuals in their everyday contexts, dedicating themselves to conveying the message of Jesus through accessible and relevant interactions
Achievements and Milestones
Since our founding, North Macon Outreach has achieved several milestones in serving the Macon community. These include hosting a family F.R.O.G. fun afternoon, supporting the Veterans Art Society in their awareness walk of PTSD, and will participate on September 28, 2025 in the (street closing name). We are committed to building on these accomplishments and expanding our outreach efforts.
North Macon Outreach lives out its Christian values by being available to those with spiritual, physical, or mental needs. We actively participate in community events, support local small businesses like ZBeans and InkSpot, offer prayer in total confidence, and engage in studying God’s Word through The Bible. Our mission is to be a beacon of hope and support in every aspect of life.
Continuing the Mission
Today, North Macon Outreach exemplifies perseverance and faithfulness. Building upon foundational principles, the organization continually evolves to address the changing needs of the Macon community. Through diverse outreach programs, service initiatives, and purposeful relationships, the team consistently demonstrates compassion and hope.
The organization maintains that authentic transformation arises from sincere connection with others. By attentively listening to the experiences and needs of community members, North Macon Outreach fosters an inclusive atmosphere where every individual is acknowledged and valued. The legacy of Pastor Brighton remains integral to the organization, symbolized by their mascot—the F.R.O.G., representing "Fully Rely on God," his enduring acronym.

As the organization moves forward, its members share a unified commitment: to serve the city and exemplify the values at the heart of their mission under the guidance of Senior Pastor Andrew Howe and the Counselman's and Marcia Brighton.
